Kin is an early stage startup with funding, founded by people who built 20twenty in the early noughties and 22seven in the early tens. We’re currently a small team, app and community that helps people be smarter with money, together. We have very big ambitions and joining us now will mean having a big influence on what Kin becomes as it grows.

We are looking for somebody who can help us be smarter with our own money.

You love numbers, spreadsheets, admin and people - ambitious people.

You like working independently and know how to keep your own spreadsheet and formula jungle in check.

Being organised and keeping track of paperwork is fun in your mind even if it means you sometimes have to run after people.

You just love the start-up environment and are creative when it comes to money resource management.

You could work remotely a large part of the time if this is something you would want to do (we also have really awesome offices in Buitenkant Street, Cape Town, upstairs from Truth).

We have a kick-ass team filled with unique, talented and lovable individuals who create a one-of-a-kind work environment.

We embrace trust, openness, the extraordinary, imagination & play, humanness, non-judgment and togetherness. If this resonates with you, you will fit right in.

Ideally from Feb / Mar 2019

The tasks we would like you to assist with include:

- Accounting and Bookkeeping (we use XERO)

- Invoicing and supplier payments

- Financial Returns

- Coordinating the monthly draw-down process with our investor

- Tracking against budget and board reporting

- Ad-hoc financial modeling including the scenario modelling of new revenue streams in a platform world

- Company Secretarial duties

- Payment processing (operational)

- Payroll

Sounds like you?
