ABOUT US

Kin is an early stage startup with funding, founded by people who built 20twenty in the early noughties and 22seven in the early tens.

We’re currently a small team, app and community that helps people be smarter with money, together. We have very big ambitions and joining us now will mean having a big influence on what Kin becomes as it grows.

Our open-plan offices are in Cape Town’s East City Precinct, upstairs from Truth Coffee on Buitenkant Street.

Technical orientation

• Strong technical approach: Technically strong, in depth engineering understanding and experience.  Be able to build cool software and have deep technical insight and solutioning. Data focused with big data architectural mindset and experience with designing outside-the-box databases.

• Technical leadership: The ability to lead strong technical teams and technical partners. Understand the depth of IT to understand what questions, deep-dive and collaboration to do when. Deep understanding of the IT landscape in order to attract, seek and find talent and retain the talent found. Lead technical delivery, change and delivery that can scale.

Senior Android Developer

- You can flesh out the technologies above with your preferred suite of tools and technologies, and can hold a solid conversation about your choices.
